"Experience at the Pijnackerstraat Store"
I checked out the spot on Pijnackerstraat in Amsterdam. What a terrible experience! The young staff seemed super lazy, charging way too much for a basic cat meal. After confronting them three times about the inflated price, and with no one else in the shop, they didn’t even bother to check the price tag. I had to snap a pic myself. When I showed them the photo of the lower price on the shelf, which was different from what they had in their system, the girl said, 'I CAN'T READ THE BARCODE.' They just opened this place, but honestly, you’d be better off shopping at Zooplus.

"Our experience has been positive"
This winter, our time with PP has been pretty good. That said, I gotta mention that the customer service takes its sweet time to get back to you. There are plenty of bad reviews floating around, but honestly, we haven't run into too many issues with our orders (we placed a bunch this Christmas).

"Terrible service all around!"
Absolutely the worst service I've ever encountered. I've been attempting to secure a refund for a damaged cat food package for a whole month, and I'm still waiting for any sort of reply or my money back. Seriously, just steer clear of that store. They never get back to you when issues arise.

"Shocked by the 'birthday cake' bone for dogs"
I’m completely appalled that a so-called 'birthday cake' bone I got for my pup’s special day from Pets Place is being offered to pet owners. It nearly harmed my dog that very night! I reached out to Pets Place after this incident, but guess what? No response at all. What kind of business is this? Clearly not one that gives a hoot about animals... I’m done shopping there for good. I’m sharing this a month later because I was hoping for some feedback from both the bone manufacturer and Pets Place, who I suggested should pull this product. But neither bothered to get back to me. Just awful...

"Terrible shopping experience"
I made a purchase from this store because their site claimed that if I ordered before 10 PM, the food would be delivered the next day. I needed it for my dog, so I went ahead and placed the order. As you might guess, the food didn’t show up today, and I also don’t have any tracking number to check on my order. What a nightmare! Now I’m just sitting here waiting for my refund since they didn’t stick to what they promised on their website. A total mess. I’m never buying from this scam again.

"Not a Customer-Friendly Experience with Petsplace Webshop"
Finding Hills Z/D is a bit of a challenge right now, but Petsplace had it listed on their site. I went ahead and ordered an 8kg bag for 80 euros, made the payment, and got a confirmation email. After two days, I was still waiting for any tracking info.
I reached out to the helpdesk, and a friendly staff member managed to locate my order, which had gotten stuck in their system. She mentioned that the last bag of Z/D had been sold, but new stock would be in within a week. She suggested I could switch my order for a delivery after November 4th, and I agreed.
However, later that same day, I got an email from Petsplace saying my order was cancelled and that I’d be refunded. I called back since my cat really needs this specific diet. They told me the cancellation was automatic, and there was no way to reactivate my order for the November 4th delivery ('computer says no'). Now, Hills Z/D is marked as 'unavailable' on their site. I'm right back where I started and won't be ordering from Petsplace again.

"Awful order processing"
Awful order processing. I've been shopping at Petsplace for over a year, and things just keep getting worse. My last couple of orders took over 2 weeks to show up, and one of my previous orders was missing something. Plus, there's no support at all, no one to assist you. It's like they don't care.

The bees are vanishing at alarming rates: Over the last 10 years, we’ve lost 30-40% of our honey bees each single year.
Just three weeks ago, 4 million honey bees mysteriously died overnight in Italy. Local beekeepers are devastated. Investigations are ongoing, but one thing we know for sure: Bayer’s pesticides play a huge role in the global bee die-off.
That’s why we want to join beekeepers all over Europe for an ambitious plan: if we can collect one million signatures for a European Citizens’ Initiative (ECI), the EU is forced to listen to us in a public hearing.
But Covid19 has made it hard to collect signatures on the streets and we are behind schedule, with many key countries missing from the tally. And the deadline is coming up fast.
European Citizens’ Initiatives are one of the most powerful tools to pressure European leaders to act. But they’re not used very often, because the bar for success is so high: we need to gather at least 1 million signatures from more than seven European countries. The sign-up process is cumbersome, followed by a rigorous analysis to make sure every single signature is valid.
But it’s worth it, Ton. With the help of an ECI, we managed to get the disastrous trade deal TTIP off the table. And if we can show European politicians that there is a massive movement fighting to save the bees, they will finally be forced to act.
And we don’t have any time to lose. Scientists are sounding the alarm: unless we change course now, the bee die-off will threaten our food security. Almost all the food we eat depends on insect pollination, and honey bees are the most important pollinator.
But we’re still far from our target -- thousands of signatures in key countries are missing, including from countries like Italy, Spain and Germany. And because there’s a quota for each country, we need to make sure we can pay for targeted ads and translators into European languages to reach enough people.

"No Response After 10 Days"
It's been 10 days with no word on my order, and they haven't responded to my emails. I'm about to run out of food and will have to find another place to shop.
A delay in getting my order is one thing, but the complete lack of communication is unacceptable.
Feels like a scam, and I can't recommend this to anyone.

"Waiting 9 Days for Dog Food"
Nine days for dog food? Took 'em five days just to send me a tracking number, and then another five to get the food to the post office???!!!!!! And seriously, they don’t even give you a heads up on how long it’ll take when they’re taking your cash. This is my second time ordering from Pets Place, and the first time was the same deal—no tracking info until the food showed up, and of course, it was 3-4 days late. Plus, they forgot half of my order, so I had to wait even longer for that. Now, this second and final order might show up after nine days, and in the meantime, I’ll have to go grab dog food from somewhere else because Pets Place is only good at taking your money. Don’t even try to blame it on Post.nl; I just got a package I ordered two days ago—yep, just two days!

"Quick shipping, item matched the description"
I chose this seller since they appeared to be quicker than all the others I came across (even on Bol). And they sure delivered! I was in urgent need of a cat carrier, so timing was crucial, and the shipping was super speedy and everything went off without a hitch.
"Missing 8 items from our order"
We placed an order for 13 items, 6 days ahead of our dog's birthday to ensure everything would arrive on time. However, we received a box that was missing 8 items, and instead, we got 3 incorrect products. Since we can't reach out to customer service, we now have to return the wrong items and cross our fingers that the correct ones will eventually come. We even ordered a special birthday cake for our pup, but that's pretty much useless now.

"Adorable kitties at this shelter!"
These cats are just the cutest! I'm really glad this animal rescue is around. They save all their critters from the streets, pulling them out of tough situations and from mean pet owners. The level of love and attention they give to every single animal is truly heartwarming. I got a cat from this place, and she's become my absolute favorite. It's so nice to see such kind folks looking after these sweet, vulnerable animals. You bet I'll return for my next little furball!

"Terrible Experience with Pets Place"
I had a really bad experience with the folks at Pets Place on Bilderdijkstraat in Amsterdam, including their main office.
I purchased a Hunter harness for my puppy, and it broke in just three weeks. This definitely wasn’t my puppy’s fault. I always took the harness off him, and he never had a chance to chew on it, nor did any other dogs. Pets Place refuses to refund my money or provide a replacement harness for my dog. I strongly recommend steering clear of this store; they clearly don’t care about the poor quality of the dog products they sell. For 41.04 euros, I expect something decent. This place is just selling junk.
